It was a cold and wet Sunday evening yet all the lads turned out in full spirit. The game started out well, with Charles Utd netting their first goal within the first fifteen minutes.

The game seemed to slow down allowing the opposition to equalise. Not having any of this, an unimpressed Charles Utd proceeded to make the score 2-1. This was the beginning of the end for the other team as the onslaught of goals began...

Brothers Azza and Josh scored some phenomenal goals between them, making sure they celebrated with a song and dance. Ryan bullied off his defender to make some spectacular passes. Talib’s hot pants must have been tight as he was running up and down the pitch like speedy Gonzales. Dion and Shaun held it down throughout the match. Alex was back to his old form and Luke was the star keeper.

All the excitement had team manger, Terence running up and down the side lines frantically jumping and shouting motivational advice to the team. Just watching him was exhausting, but this technique must have worked as the guys responded by stepping up the tempo.

All in all it was a good match, the whole team played extremely well.
